Well, not to get too far off topic, but for a guy that was preaching "change", he has appointed a lot of Clinton people to his administration... more of the same if you ask me...
anyway, until somebody comes up with the PERFECT playoff system to please EVERYBODY, count on seeing only bowl games for now...

Smurph, I think the Messiah has already upset more than a few people over his other actions, like appointing all these former Clinton folks. It's just silly to hear him talking about college football playoffs when he has a crashing economy and Al Queda (just refered to the President Elect as a "house negro") to deal with (just to name a few things). I think the "Presidential" answer to any questions about football would be that he's too focused on other more important things and hadn't really even given a football playoff a thought. It was appropriate on ESPN when he spoke at halftime of the Monday Night broadcast, but why this was a question on 60 minutes was another thing.
WVUJim, it does appear he's pulling in a lot of ex-Clintonesta's to his new cabinet. I didn't vote for the clown, so I will excercise my right to be critical of him. At the same time, if/when he does something right I'll support it. Sadly though I predict he's going repeat mistakes, make a few new ones (big ones), and break all these promises (lies) he spewed to get elected. In all honesty, I was looking for the "easy button" at my voting booth which said "Fire them all, and start over" but sadly there wasn't that option. But, not to turn this into a political forum......
I am glad we have football and basketball for the next few months to distract us from the reality of what is coming in this country. I'm ready to watch WVU whallop Loserville tomorrow. The basketball team sounded like it played pretty well last night (I couldn't watch it). So hopefully we'll see some success on both venues and it'll give us something fun to watch and talk about.

I was @ the bball game last night... we should have EASILY plastered them w/100 points...
On a lighter note, this big fat black woman was behind Longwood's Bench cheerin, and some of the student section was starting to heckle her, including yours truly with a yell of "KEEP MOMMA CLUMP AWAY FROM THE BUFFET!"

Jim, that is AWESOME, wish I could have heard it on the radio. Wish I could make it out to Vegas to see the team but I will be making a few b-ball games this season for sure. Sounds like E-banks and Co. are the real deal thus far.
