When a team up 43-0 kicks an onside kick, or when any SEC team or Steve Spurrier is on the opposing sideline.

A guy told me yesterday that he had heard or read that Alexander was considering transferring if Beilein had stayed because he wasn't happy with his style of basketball, he wanted a more physical game. Has anyone else heard of this?

Much better job of hanging on to the ball, only 9 turnovers. After the Tennessee game Huggs said he told them if they were going to throw the ball away to throw it into the stands, then at least they would have a chance to get back on defense. LOL

Anyone going to the Oklahoma game in Charleston on the 29th? I'm gonna call tomorrow and see if I can get tickets. I've been meaning to do it, just haven't got around to it yet.

I'll have to admit, Huggs looks pretty dapper on the sidelines. I like the look of coaches in suits....for some reason it just works with basketball but no way for football. I guess a pullover with a shirt and tie is fine too, I just think the suits look more professional. But honestly, the way he has our boys playing I don't care what he wears.

And Huggs said that he was strong and and physical, which is what he's lacking off the bench. I think he might get some PT.

Nice !! Huggs actually seen him playing not long after he got to Motown and asked someone who he was. Apparently he was very impressive. Hmmmmm a ploy by Stew to lure Pryor maybe??? Whatever works!!!

I think we're going to be OK. I was impressed by how we kept coming back and not letting it get away, but it was painful watching us turn the ball over that much. I really liked the "In you face" defense too. Nice showing against the #7 team in the country and we're gonna surprise some people this year. They were a little out of control at times, but like Huggs said, we're a work in progress. Oh, and Tennesse is an outstanding defensive team BTW.

I would assume this opens up a scholarship for Huggs next season? From scout.com.......
West Virginia basketball forward Jacob Green is transferring, and will leave the Mountaineer basketball team before the start of the second semester.
Green, a redshirt freshman, has seen little playing time for West Virginia this year save some stints in early season routs. True freshman John Flowers had clearly bypassed Green on the depth chart.
Green has apparently not made up his mind on a possible destination, although Fordham has been mentioned as a possibility.
Green appeared in ten games in 2007-08, but had just 75 minutes of court time. He had eight points and 20 rebounds, with three assists, four blocked shots and five steals

This article didn't mention it, but I read another one where Johnnie West said he already had 2 more three-pointers than his dad! LOL
