I've lost count, but I've been going to WVU games since 1980. I've honestly lost count, but just doing the math - 4 or so games a year - times 26 years plus one this year - ummm, it's like 104 games I think?

I have no idea. I can't even remember how many times Dad and I went to the old stadium in the 70's.

I take one of my three kids to each game. I buy two seats each season and then we have a little lottery for who get's to pick what game they go too. It works out they each get to go to two games with me. And it works for me 'cuz I get to go to all of them LOL - age has it's privileges right? I'd like to meet everyone on here that's going to the games at some point, everybody seems pretty cool on here. I feel for those who live out of state. I've been there myself, I lived in Montana for six years while in the Air Force and hated being away from WV and the Mountaineers. I did manage to get home for a few games a year with my military leave etc. Spect some $$$ on flights but I couldn't deal with missing all of the games so I did what I had to get my football fix in. But it's not the same as living here.

I been to several at old mountaineer field but the one that stands out the most was in 1973 and my oldest son was in the cub scouts and we all went to the penn st game, our seats were right behind the penn st bench and i remember joe paterno pacing the sidelines and thinking to myself " that guy sure wears alot of plaid" lol. What really amazes me is how he looks the same now as he did then!

More games than I can count. First game was in the West Virginia Centennial year of 1963, Sept. 21st when we lost to Navy and Roger Staubaugh 51 - 7. In case you missed my post some time ago on that "other" site, I'll tell it again. Before the game started there was an OutHouse with the half moon on it in the middle of the field. The Navy cheerleaders come out of our tunnel and led their goat right into the outhouse which fell apart and a HillBilly ran out with his red longjons on and the back flat blowing in the wind. Lots of other stories, best saved for another day.

I would say about 100. Living here in the Midwest, I have been to away games at Missouri, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Purdue, and this year Cincy. Also, 4 bowl games, including last year's Gator Bowl.

I voted 10 but I thought of another one after I voted, it may even be a couple more than that. I know I went to at least 2 in old Mountaineer Field and at least one at the new stadium before I left for the Air Force in '82. I remember my dad taking me to see them play Virginia in Charlottesville in '72 I think and at Va. Tech once. When I was stationed in NY I went to a Syracuse and a Rutgers game. I also went to the '94 & '06 Sugar Bowls and the Gator Bowl this year and the Gator Bowl when we got our ass kicked by Maryland,'05 I think?? Damn MJ, If I knew you were gonna ask this question I woulda kept better track of them!! LOL
