I understand that WVU is comprised of a diverse student body from many different counties, states, and countries. I understand that moving to a new location, you have pride for your hometown, or your just simply not from WV or have anything to do with it. Regardless, do not insult the University or its faithful by tainting its campus landscape with garbage from rival institutions. Example, if you are from Virginia, don't come struttin' your stuff in here with a VTech shirt or if you are from Pennsylvania don't come in here wearing something of Pitt, (Yes, I saw a student wearin' a Pitt shirt the other day)..
Have some respect and dignity for the school!!

I think the Beachboys said it best..
Be True to your school... just like you would to your girl or guy..
I stll wear WVU stuff down here in the heart of SEC country, and I wear it proud.

lol...I feel ya about wearin' the colors in SEC country!! I loved it whenever somebody tried to convince me that the SEC is better and I should have pulled for Auburn or Bama. I said no!! My home is in the Mountain State and I will always wear Old Gold and Blue. Of course, I had a marriage fall through b/c of that (I'd rather live in WV than die in Bama)..After all Mountain Mama came a callin' and I ain't been anywhere else since!!

Dan,
There are parts of me that miss up north and it gets REALLY bad during football season..
If I won the lottery I would ive down here in the winter and spring and spend summer and football season in Morgantown.
It was REALLY sweet to beat Georgia in the Sugar though ;D

Yeah Elapid is a class act, and he plans to go to the WVU/Auburn game, and I hope WVU folks show their class and treat him to a good time..
Friendly ribbing, for sure.. but nothing too nuts.. He's actually defended WVU and the Big east a BUNCH in some heated arguements.

I already warned my old Auburn pals about how rowdy the students get for WVU games, especially with this game having so much emphasis on it.

hahahaha Way back in the day when I was a Student.. One of my friends had friends that went to Pitt and came down for the game.. Back then ya only had to have a PRT card to get into the student section, and Terri took PITT fans into our Student section.. I thought.. OMG.. these girls are gonna die..
But, maybe because they were cute and NOt too loud mouthed, they were allowed to live.

Well, if a cute girl comes up to me and asks I wanna take her out and she is a Pitt student I will definitely say Yes!! If a cute girl wants to become more than a friend and she wears Pitt attire around me, I will still say yes to her. If the cute girl asks me, do I want to attend a Pitt game and tells me she would really love me if I supported the home team against a non-conference opponent, I would probably say.... HELL NO, I WILL NEVER ROOT FOR PITT!!! I support the Old Gold and Blue of WVU and my Sweet Tea too!!!! (BTW, sweet tea is actually difficult to get in Morgantown, which is stupid considering we are in West Virginia and not south Pennsylvania)

If you are talkin' about the one near the intersection of Puskar Blvd. and Van Voorhis Rd., they are one of two places I know of that actually serve Sweet Tea!! The other is Los Mariachi's, which Chris's and my favorite spot to eat at because of their sweet tea

as an addendum,
I am EXTREMELY fussy about Sweet tea.. If I can't taste it before I order it, I won't order it. It ha to be REALLY freshly made.. I can taste a difference if its even 6 hours old and I won't drink it..
Ironically enough, the best sweet tea in Pensacola is at the hospital where I work. You have to fill yer cup with ice because the tea is still hot..
I won't even mention the canned teas or the instant ice teas.. I almost vomitted a bit in my mouth just thinking of them.
