Maybe if we keep winning, we can drop out of the top ten in a few weeks. Fuck the polls and fuck everyone involved in them.

How did South Carolina climb so high? They beat that huge team South Carolina State by 35 points.. They leaped 9 points for a 35 point win over a totally NOBODY Team and Rutgers SHUT OUT a no body team with 59 points and they rise 2? Rutgers got ONE of those pionts higher because Louisville dropped 10 points for 4 point loss in the final seconds.. Hell Auburn didn't drop THAT far last week for losing to USF.
Ahh but its all as it should be.. 6 SEC teams are now there. All is right in SEC land..
I HATE the SEC.. I REALLY hate them.

Too bad you live in SEC country.... I HATED that when I lived there....
The only respectable thing about this poll is that UCLA dropped out after getting thumped.....

Every football season it gets harder and harder for me to live here. there is a huge part of me that can't WAIT to move back up north..

Easy gang. It's week three. There's a lot of season left. This will all shake out. We just need to keep winning. I agree the polls suck and are biased. Teams with bigger markets than WVU are getting votes. If this happens in week 9 or 10 then yeah, I'm a little worried but not quite yet. I think we'll be fine as some of these teams will take a loss somewhere.

Besides us getting jumped, I am really not sure how the fuck texas stays at 6 they barely snuck out of central florida with a win. And bama getting in as high as they are is crazy, they beat arkansas who if I am right wasn't as high as Auburn was when USF beat them. I guess you get less votes depending on what your name is. The voters just can't seem to vote with the facts, instead they vote based on the past and who they want.
I truly believe that the voters ballot should have letters A-Z then AA-ZZ and so on, then they don't know who they are voting for, all they know is A beat T and T lost to F last week and so on. That way the names and conferences are taken out of the equation.

The lack of respect the BE gets pisses me off. Hearing how great the SEC is pisses me off. Hearing how great USC is pisses me off. I'm actually surprised Notre Dame isn't in the top 25 at 0-3. I know polls don't mean much at this stage of the season, but it still pisses me off.

LOL After a nap and another raging headache.. I feel a LITTLE bit better.
I guess what does concern me most is its hard to regain that ground. Especially when a consensus of people believe that a one loss SEC team is just as good if not better than an undefeated WVU.
The losses in the BE did NO help our cause in SOS down the road either.

Louisville lost, which probably hurt us. Marshall lost, which is definitely hurting us. They just aren't any good, no two ways about it. We should win this weekend big over ECU, which probably won't do much to help us, BUT if we struggle, we may drop again. We need our opponents to win. I was rooting for Louisville, much as I can't stand them, to win over Kentucky, because I knew the effect it would have on the BE perception AND on our schedule perception. We can only take care of what we can take care of that is beat all lof our opponents. We have games coming up that will help if we win (USF, Cincy, Rutgers) and hopefully Louisville will not drop any more games and they will remain ranked and if we beat them it will help. Their defense is simply terrible so I'm worried that they will lose another game or even two before we get them here. As for the polls, well they all love Texas, who should have dropped if you apply the same logic to them that is being applied to WVU (which of course will never happen). Bottom line - we're okay, but we can't slip up though. And we need to win, and when possible, win big.
