I know a LOT depends on what everyone else is doing.
Is it too optimistic for me to believe we'll still be in the top 10?

Sorry MJ, I think IF we're lucky it'll be top fifteen, these pollsters are pretty harsh when it comes to WVU. Maybe they'll see it as we just got beat by a good team, but we played so badly, and there was no other games on at the time. Unfortunately that's going to mean a majority of the voters watched us. I'll wager we'll be 16 to 19th. I mentioned earlier in one of my other posts, ranking doesn't matter now for us at this point, we just need to get back to winning and maybe if some teams get upset we can be back in the top ten.

Texas went down today. Rutgers lost to Maryland.
Be nice if Fla went down to Auburn tonight. Cal won in a scare, Wisky won today. I'm really wondering if there will be any undefeated teams at the end of the year. Seems every weekend brings an upset.

Wow.....Florida just got beat. Washington has a chance but just went down ten to USC.
Florida was beat by Auburn who was beat by USF who beat.....us.
So.....I think this might, just might help us stay near the top ten.
I'm going to go with 11, and no lower than 13th.

After the events of yesterday I now say 12th instead of 15th. Now Florida got beat by an unranked team, and we got beat by a ranked team, that beat the team that beat Florida. THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THEY SHOULD BE RANKED ABOVE US. Red, I agree, but if I had a million dollars I would bet it that Florida DOES NOT drop out of the top 10. As a matter of fact I bet they will be ahead if Wisconson. (Begin sarcasm) Geez, everyone knows a 1 loss SEC team is still better than almost anyone else in the country. (End Sarcasm) |

I had NO Idea what the other scores were because I was having an totally ANYTI FOOTBALL night..
I Let out a HUGE yell when I saw that Ok and Fl, and Texas, and Loss.. The Rutgers loss killed me though.. Penn State also lost
I bet we DO stay in the top ten..

The one thing that'll chafe my ass is that V - Tech will probably be above us and they have beaten nobody, barely beat ECU, who we absolutely destroyed and they got shellacked by LSU. I see CBS did their poll and we're 13th in theirs. Not that I give two shits what CBS thinks of anything but I figure they will be close to what the coaches come out with.
