My pick would be Ohio St because I feel it would make a good borderline state rivalry like we have had with Maryland over the years. (a win-win for our program) I feel we should already be playing ND yearly like we do in all other sports (maybe if they continue their losing ways for a few years that might become a reality, lol) Playing USC yearly would cost too much to go there.

I think Penn State would be a good option for us to renew the rivalry.

Ohio State would be good, it would give us some points with Ohio recruits if we were to beat them. Penn State would be great just to renew the rivalry.

I went with Other because I think we should pick up Penn State. I know I've said this before, and maybe in other forums, but I think we should start a series with Iowa. Iowa and WVU are so eerily similar, it's scary! That statement has nothing to do with style of football play, but the feel and size of Iowa City is similar to the feel and size of Motown. It's a state without pro sports, so it's full of rabid Hawkeye fans, much like WVU. Iowa City is a beautiful little town tucked along the Iowa River, much as Morgantown and the Monongahela. Both towns have a great party scene, and both a great universities in BCS conferences. Plus, my wife is a Hawkeye, and I'd love to rub an ass-whipping in her face

Now don't get pissed at me But since lots of your picks, like Ohio State and Penn State, have MUCH bigger stadiums that we do, would we play them twice at their place for once at ours? WHY Not? Remember that was our big thing for Not wanting to play at Marshall, their stadium was too small? Well there is a bigger disparity between us and Ohio State and Penn State than there is between us and Marshall! So, what say you??

My choice would be VT. As cviller mentioned in his post, its important to have home and homes and NOT be dictated to because of the size of the stadium. I think VT has an eqivical size stadium. I may be wrong there.
I also really MISS playing Virginia Tech. That was our true Coal Bowl.. and the rivalry was REALLY starting to heat up.

I agree with Penn State. They play in the overrated Big 10.At this point we could usually beat them and it would give credence to our program because everyone thinks the Big 10 is a good conference. Also, if we could win 46 straight games, we could even up the series record.

I miss the Hokies also but after what they did to the big east i would rather have them rot in hell as a football team.

I voted other, I think Penn St. is a good choice, I also like bringing back the VT rivalry. I am fine with Ohio St, but going there twice to there one visit to Mo-town would kinda suck. I would really like to get an SEC team besides Miss St. on our schedule. We do have Aurbun coming up, but I don't remember for how many games.

I voted other, but here lies the problem. No matter who we schedule it is not going to make a difference by the time we play them. Let me explain. Auburn was an SEC power until we get to them next year, now they will suck or be "rebuilding" a win will mean little. Colorado a respectable school, is now a whipping post. Hell even Fla. St. sucks right now. Not to mention Mich. St. is not getting much style points right now. So until the teams that are on the schedule start playing better to me it really doesn't matter. (ok I'll get down from the box now )

Very good point Bump. I never thought of that, but you are correct. Even after USF beat aurburn they were making excuses and what not. Now when we destroy them next year no one is really gonna care.
