We have people that have known each other for awhile, and some rather new members that are active.. Just thought this would be a great place to come and tell everyone anything you're comfy sharing.
Real first names would help as sometimes we refer to people as their first name, instead of their screen name.

I guess I'll start, since I am chief blabbermouth here. I'm Mary Jane, but you can call me mj. I'm a single mom. My sons are 18 and 17. I work in the medical field. Used to be nurse, but now I am a neurodoagnostic tech. I do tests on the nervous system. I currently reside in Pensacola Florida.. I've been here almost 11 years. I have also lived in Morgantown, WV, central New Jersey, and most of my 38 years in SW PA in little rural towns that unless yer from there, you DON't know where they are. My Dad's a retired coal miner. Though I am grateful and appreciate his life long sacrifice to work and provide for his family, that's about the nicest thing, I can say about him. My Mom passed away in May of 2000 and I lost one of my best friends. I love to shoot pool, though I suck at it. I REALLY like to play ANY sort of board game or trivia game. I love music, though I am not musically inclined. I spend oodles of time online and I like that. Some of the best people I've ever met started out as online buddies.. Most of them, I have made a point to meet in person.. Thank you everyone for being a part of this wonderful Mountaineer Family.. You're ALL treasures to me. Well enough about me.. lets talk about you...

My turn. My name's Doug Hayes and I was born and raised in the small town of Middlebourne, located in Tyler County. Lived in the same house all my life until I was 18 and I moved to Columbus, OH for a little under a year to live with my brother. From there, I moved to Chicago and lived there for almost 9 years. I moved to Chicago for college and fell in love with the city! I decided it was the place for me to stay. Chicago gave me excellent job opportunities, great friends, and most importantly, my beautiful wife Shelly. Shelly and I have been married for just over 2 years now and in September of last year we decided to go on a new venture and we moved from Chicago to Houston, TX. As of right now I do project management technology consulting and I'm finished up my Master's degree at the end of this month. As part of my capstone course I'm creating a mock business which I'm investigating starting for real. If it happens, it'll likely happen this year, so it could be a big year for me. Who's next?

My name is Bill but everyone on here calls me Smitee. I was raised in Raleigh County near Beckley, and lived there until I was 19 and joined the Air Force. I did tours in Germany, New York, Korea and Florida. I retired in June of 2004 after almost 22 years. Stayed in Florida for about two years after I retired and worked as a home inspector. Got pretty much wiped out by hurricane Ivan and decided to sell the house and moved back to West By God in in June of 2006. We built a house next to my parents in the old home town and moved in last February. It's great to be back home!!!

My name is Brian, but everyone calls me Red. I was born and raised in Clarksburg. After graduating from WI High School in 94, I went to Fairmont St. College for a few years. Once I realized that school was not for me, I left and went back to Clarksburg and worked several jobs over the years. I started DJing at night clubs on the side, and found a job I could excel at, that was music retail. I worked for Camelot, which later became FYE. I was store manager for 5 years or so. I met my fiance Kathy while djing at a local bar, and we have been together ever since. I later decided that I wanted to go back to school and attempt to find a better job. Once Camelot was bought by FYE the company went downhill and working there was no longer enjoyable. I took off for Florida and went to school for audio engineering. I spent a year there and earned an Associates Degree, after school I moved to DC and started working. I did studio, and live sound free lance work for about a year. I then found Radio Free Asia. I have been there for about 3 years now and could not be happier. I now have a job that I look forward to everyday. My fiance will soon move here to DC and we will get married. That will be the best day of my life.

They call me Larry (most of the time). I was born and raised in Raleigh County. Finished WWHS in 1960 then headed off to WVU. Couple of years later I had a European vacation compliments of the U. S. Army. I then headed back to Beckley. After 4 winters of cold and snow I went south. Landing in Atlanta. There I met my future wife (Gail). Gail and I will celebrate our 37 years of marriage this fall. We have two daughters and four grandkids (3 boys and a girl) with a fifth due in August. I retired after 30 year with an auto parts distribution in 2001. Since then taking one day at a time and loving it. We now live in north Ga midway between Ga Tech and Univ of Ga. The past three bowl games sure have been fun.

Larry,
I too don't know if I could take the cold BLAH of northern winters anymore..
If I had my perfect world, I would live up north in the summer and fall, and down here in the winter and spring..
congrats on the new grandbaby coming! and also 37 years of marriage.. wow..

My name is Dan Murray. I was born in Wheeling, graduated in 1968. I attended WVU 2 different periods. I was in Mining Engineering. My buddies gave me the nickname Murph as a takeoff from my last name and still call me that. In between those periods, I was married 6 years. My daughter, Teena is an attorney in Wheeling. The marriage ended in a very ugly manner. I moved to the Chicago area in 1983 and started a home decorating business, which I operated for 18 years. Two years ago I took a job at the Cook Couty Assessor's office. Now the only home decorating I do is for my wife Joni, whom I met in 1988 and married in 1999. As bad as my first marriage was, that is how wonderful this one is and I consider myself a very lucky man.
