As I've mentioned, Big momma, my best friemd from high school, and her family are coming in this weekend. Jack and Sara are pre-teen and Jack is bringing his friend Peyton, who's never been on a plane before. Anyway, the kids think they're going to the hotel and call me to meet me somehwere. I'm going to be waiting outside the hotel. They're only ever seen me with glasses and a beard, so I'll be wearing contacts and i shaved today. Not exactly sure what we're going to do, just ad-lib as the situation allows. Should be fun!

I thought you'd like that...  Tam and I are old pros at ad-libing. We were in a play in HS, and on the last night, in front of the parents, the OTHER preacher's son in the cast decided to start changing the script as he went along. We still talk about that today and laugh our asses off. |

I used Jimmy's camera, and it SUCKS! So, two-thirds of the pics I took are crap, but Sara was snapping left and right, so I'm sure we'll have some more.

As for the prank, I almost didn't get there in time as I waited twenty minutes for a bus, and it got stuck in traffic half way there. Found myself a nice spot on a bench looking at the driveway to see their shuttle coming in. They threw me a curve and took the train so they were coming from the other side of the hotel. John winked as he passed by, the kids looked right at me and didn't notice me, Tammy didn't even look my way. I followed them into the hotel and sat behind them on couch while they checked in. Their room wasn't ready so they turned around to check their bags and Tammy saw me. She gave me a wink and I knew we were on. She told Jack to call me and say that they had arrived. Of course, he got the machine, and after a couple tries, was getting a little upset that I wasn't answering. By this time, I'm standing directly behind Tammy poking her in the back with my finger, John's looking at me and trying not to crack up. It was then than Jack looked up at me and realized who it was. The look on his face was so great! His eyes got real big and then he gave me a big hug and called me a fucker. Prolly the funniest part was Peyton's reaction. He's Jack's friend that I had never met. He didn't catch on right away what was going on, so he was wondering why Jack was hugging this strange man in the hotel lobby! |
