We only had the camera on Sunday as it needed charged on Saturday. Shawn and I had a pretty laid back Sunday, and I hope he wasn't too bored.. It hard to keep up with a Dancing Bear! It really is! The first pics I have to share are from my beloved Oar House. The Oar House happened after Pensacola Beach but I'll share these pics first.. The Beach Pics are gonna have to happen tomorrow as the Bear wore me out and I need to go to bed soon.. Don't even know where to start with the Picture anthology.. But I'll Start with the boat and outside pictures.. I have a love for the water like a man dying of thirst in the desert. We're gonna look at the boats that we saw first and each one has a story.. First we'll look at the Row Boat guy... He came across Bayou Chico against a VERY stong current and extreme winds just to come over to The Oar House for a Drink. He had to work VERY hard to get over there, but the trip home was MUCH easier.

Next are the sailboats that I am more entralled with. Sail Boats require a zillion times more skill and are Oh so much more ecofriendly and they've been around since before Christopher Columbus sailed the Ocean Blue in 1492. Though Shawn was more interested in the pooch on the deck of this magnificent sail boat, I was having wet dreams about the boat coming into port, against the wind, so it had to rely on its motor and not its masts to get them into their home. Here's a close up of the Dog that Shawm loved so much.. We thought that the pooch was MAYBE gonnna fo a Titanic Pic where he was up right on the bow, but it didn't happen..

The only sailboat that we saw that could use its sails to head out for the Gulf was this one, and he had to have his baby sail up to catch thait mighty wind otherwise, he would have been going too fast to go down the Bayou safely..

One of the more interesting boats that we saw during the day was a power boat.. (Usualy the boats here are sailboats or big honking fishing boats) This small cigarette boat immediatly caught my eye. As it turns out this was the maiden voyage for this boat, as the hired captainish was teaching its new owners of the ammenities.. Later that afternoon, the new owners wanted to dock at The Oar House for a bit to eat and drink and Shawn got a few snazzy close ups, including a close up of the big friggin engines that they were HAPPY to show off!

But The Oar House IS a place you can see a Million dollar Cigarette power boat docked up next to a 3000 dollar fishing boat and you can see a sea crane on a barge on the background.

Sadly, It wasn't a picture perfect day at the Beach.. The sun was shining but the wind was blowing so hard that it was blowing up the sand and the Gulf was all churned up... The Red Flags were out and that meant no one but the surfers could be in the water. We decided to walk out on the fishing pier. I hadn't even ever done that.. ost of the pics are taken from up on the pier. These pictures are off to the right looking down towards Fort Pickins Now down to the left.. Where all the touristy stuff is..

That walk on the Fishing pier was a LOT of hard work.. LOL So we went to the Doc to have a few beers... This is a pic of the fishing pier from The Dock. After the Dock we decided to go to Crabs to find some t shirts! But instead we found a really pretty birdie!
