We are heading out Wed morning for FLA for vacation. I have to spend the day tomorrow packing because over the weekend Mary Kay's grandma died!! She was 101 and in pretty good health for that age. She was in the nursing home for the past few years because Mary Kay lost her mom and dad. We just couldn't care for 2 kids ourselves and a 100 year old lady!! So was happy there so it worked out good for all!! The saddest part of this story is she was the last of Mary Kay family!! The kid and I are the only thing she has left!! We buried her today and only a few people showed up!! But as the priest told us at her age most of her friends were already there at the cemetery!! Makes sense and most likely true!! We are going to get things packed up and head out!! I'll try to check in while we are gone! I'm taking the laptop with me will post some pictures from the trip!! Listen if I don't get on here before 4th I want to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July!! Drink on for me and I'll be thinking of you guys!! LATER!!!

WOW! I didn't know Littleton ever had a high school! My oldest sister graduated from Hundred in 62, she prolly knew her. MM, have a great time in Fla!
Smurf, I knew Milliken's out Dallas Pike. Their names were George and Ruth and they had a big dairy farm. We were at their house watching the game when the "Immaculate Reception" happened. The last time I got to talk to George was the day before the Fiesta Bowl v ND.

Hey Davy, There were 2 girls a couple years behind me named Vicki and Brenda. I grew up on Dallas Pike. We lived next to Middle Creek school. I went there 1956-1962, then Triadelphia Jr. Hi and High school (class of '68).

Smurf, I went to Middle Creek for 1st and 2nd grades. My Dad was the minister at Dallas United Methodist. That would've been 70-72. I also went to New Martinsville School and Magnolia, just like Milkman, as well as Arthur I. Boreman and Ellsworth in Midlebourne, the same as Doug. George and Ruth Milliken's farm was out #2 Ridge Road. (I had to look up the name, couldn't remember it.) We would always go there for dinner after church and watch the Steelers there. They had a big color TV and we, being a poor preacher's family, had just a B&W in those days.

Even smaller! The farm we bought out back of New Martinsville in 73, we sold to my brother-in-law and sister, who sold it to Milkman's family.
