On Sept. 10 I was throwing a fottball around with a couple of co workers. To mke a long story short I have a displaced fracture of my ring finger on left hand. I didnt go and get it looked at for a few days and today I got into to an Orthopedic Doc. I may have to have it operated on it, I go next week for a second opinion on it. So if I dont seem to be around much for a while this is reason why. It appears I may have to have a splint of it for at least 6 weeks and may be more if surgery is required.

I went to a Orthopedic Doc and wanted to do surgery on the finger. It he would have done it that day if he couldve. As soon as that word came out of his mouth his NURSE had an appointment book out wanting me to schedule it. I told him and his nurse that I needed to go somewhere for a second opinion and I am glad I did. The next one said the benefits of surgery would be enough to warrant it basically. And that the fracture or chipped bone is so small the only way to get it would be to basically go in and tie it down and then It would or may be stiff and not work right from then on out in life. So needless to say I am glad I WENT TO THE SECOND GUY.
