LINCOLN, Neb. - The No. 25-ranked West Virginia University gymnastics team scored 192.975 points and finished fourth Sunday at the University of Nebraska's 20th Masters Classic at the Devaney Center.
The host Cornhuskers, the No. 11-ranked team in the country, finished first today with a score of 196.425. No. 20 Arizona finished second with 194.75 points, while No. 18 Denver finished third with a 194.175 score.
Though solid across the gym, the Mountaineers (11-7, 6-0 EAGL) finished fourth on every event but beam, where they scored 48.05 and finished third. WVU also scored 48.225 on vault, 48.15 on bars and 48.55 on floor.
