I am taking a small vacation to San Fran to see my sister, she is out there travel nursing. I will be gone for about a week. I will post some pics when i get back.

Thank you, I will. It is a much needed break from work. I love my job, but we have been so busy here, it will be nice to get away for awhile. Plus I have never been to the West Coast. So I am excited about that.

LOL, you got me beat! My farthest venture west was Davenport, Iowa and I only went to church there. We were at my cousins across the river in Illinois. Have a good time, Brian! Can't wait to see the pics!

I am back to work. My plane landed yesterday at 6am. I am still on San Fran time, but I am trying to get back to normal. I did come back to work to some good news. I got a promotion, I am very excited. It is a promotion in my dept. I will be doing the same job as before, but now I will have more responsibilities. I will get some pics up as soon as I can. I have a lot of catching up to do at work.

Congrats on the promotion, Red! Getting promoted while on vacation is about as sweet as it gets!

Red Very glad ya made it home and has a great time.. And a promotion to boot? Rock the house. Can't wait to see the pictures, but you get the jet lag taken care of and get thework stuff under your belt first.. It seems to only be getting worse with the Tibet/china thing..  |

Yeah, it is not getting any better. The protests are about to hit home. The tourch is going to be in San Fran tomorrow.
