Don't know if you guys caught the ESPNU 1-hour Big East preview program last night. Although McShay eventually gave WVU some love and picked them to win the conference, in the first 45 seconds of the show, he felt the need to mention 3 times that the Big East moved up from the 6th best conference to the 5th best (3 times). Then kept talking about how the bottom teams have to improve before they can move up to the 4th best conference.
Everybody (except McShay) knows the BE was one of the top 3 conferences last season and should be again this season. You can name bottom feeders in every conference (Stanford,Arizona,Baylor, Illinois (trounced by Rutgers, also lost to Syracuse), Northwestern,etc.)
