I know we have a couple of posters on here who are (were) in law enforcement. I don't want to judge all cops, based on the actions of a few, .............however, most cops around here just love to be confrontational and to bait citizens to try to create a situation so they can do their thing. I have learned that "Yes, sir and no, sir" are required responses unless you want trouble.
There is also a history of Chicago cops brutalizing people who they consider murder suspects in order to get a confession.

Well...
I'm one of those who used to work in LE.
Obviously, they are not all like that. Every career field has it's bad apples.
C'mon now, when you have to dial 9-1-1 because some shit is happening, you want the cops right?
I won't touch the NWA comment....just wont.....
Let's go easy on the generalizations here.......

Seriously, though... I don't hate all cops... the bad ones just give the good ones a bad name and the bad ones overall just disgust me, which prompts me to listen to the NWA song.

Jim, on that speeding thing, I'd advise take the Fifth on grounds you don't want to incriminate yourself. ;D
And just remember that the good cops on the job have to deal with the bad cops too, and the job is certainly tough enough as it is.
