I have a few questions and if anyone has the answers I'd really like to know.
1. There are over 100 kids on the team, do you believe it's actually possible that there's not one of them who can gain 1 yard?
2. Ball on the one yard line....can anyone expliain why it makes sense to line up 6 yards deep in the backfield from the spread instead of using the I formation with a fullback leading the way?
3. Why does it make sense to consistently run to the short side of the field?
4. Does anyone other than myself think that someone should take Stew's headset away?

1. There are over 100 kids on the team, do you believe it's actually possible that there's not one of them who can gain 1 yard? I thought we had a good kid #6 I believe his number at the start of season, they at least tried him as FB, I bet there is someone like Berry who played FB in high school
2. Ball on the one yard line....can anyone expliain why it makes sense to line up 6 yards deep in the backfield from the spread instead of using the I formation with a fullback leading the way? When the team only runs 2 running plays out of the formations we do its no wonder why or how they are predictable.
3. Why does it make sense to consistently run to the short side of the field? Again predictability with 2 plays running
4. Does anyone other than myself think that someone should take Stew's headset away? I think Stew is doing ok for right now but I think Mullen should lose his first and then Stew if the problem persist. Yes Stew oversees the whole operation I would start with the Off. Coor. and work from there.

1. There are over 100 kids on the team, do you believe it's actually possible that there's not one of them who can gain 1 yard? Yeah...
2. Ball on the one yard line....can anyone expliain why it makes sense to line up 6 yards deep in the backfield from the spread instead of using the I formation with a fullback leading the way? I'm a firm believer in "pound that sumbitch ball down their throats!"
3. Why does it make sense to consistently run to the short side of the field? It doesn't! I can tell you from my experiences playing NCAA FB 08 that running to the short side will only create problems/loss of yards/miniscule gains...
4. Does anyone other than myself think that someone should take Stew's headset away? No. I think Mullen needs the boot... but, it's like "mountaineerinpa" said, if the problem continues, Stew should go.

Well, I wasn't talking about firing Stew, I was talking about ACTUALLY taking his headset away..... every time the camera is on him he's dicking around with it. ;D
I agree on booting Mullen though.

I'm protesting Stew and Mullen! I have taken down my flags, removed the plates and stickers from my car, taken down all (a lot) my Mountaineer stuff in my Sports Garage and removed all (a lot) of my apparel and put it away. Yes! I'm Mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!!! First I turnd my flags up side down, but that didn't make me feel any better. So now that evrything is out of sight, I feel a hell of a lot better No I didn't destroy anything (just a few things - right after the Pitt game) so I can put things back after Stew and Mullen are GONE ;D Now you all can call me what every you like (to make you feel better) but I don't care. I just can't stand to see all that talent being wasted. No I won't be at the game Saturday. I'm not the only one staying away. There are over 600 tickets for sale on StubHub. Prices start at $29, so it's a buyers market. However, there not buying! I would suggest that everybody who is going to the game and taking a white towel, print in BIG BOLD letters FIRE STEW & MULLENNow that I got that off my chest, I really feel a lot better!

BTW, cviller, I'm going to turn into a real asshole for a minute:
I fucking HATE IT WITH EVERY OUNCE OF MY SOUL when people ABANDON OUR TEAM during the bad times!!!!!!!!!! Sure, we have disagreements with the coaching staff, but in no way, shape or form am I going to abandon the team that represents THE SCHOOL I ATTEND AND HOPE TO GRADUATE FROM SOON on the gridiron!
I feel like when times are bad, we take our team for granted! No fucking way in hell am I ever doing that! Through thick and thin I am proud of our football team!!!!!!
While I will never go as far as to tell one of my fellow boardmembers/fellow Mountaineer fans/friends to go eat a dick, I will say that I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed at people that abandon our team during the tough times.
OK, back to me being a comedic asshole...

I agree with Jim but not in how he put it Glen. There is no way, no matter whether we are 1 - 11, god forbid, or 11 - 1 I am behind this team no matter what. The athletic teamS of WVU represent each and every person of the state of WV both non residents and residents. So you are talking on deaf ears when you are saying you hung your flags upside down to putting your WVU stuff away.

Maybe I was a tad harsh in my words, but it wasn't meant to be personal... more of a "steam release."

It's so easy to love a winner but true love is also loving a loser - WVU can not ever lose enough games to make me not want to wear my WVU clothes or to be ashamed to do so. Alot of the "fans" don't remember when a 6-5 record was considered a successful year and getting to go to any bowl game was a great honor for our state, school and young men (some barely out of high school). I will be in Morgantown from around 9 A.M. to well after midnight and win or lose, I will be damn proud to be a true Mountaineer fan.

I didn't say a thing ABOUT THE TEAM! I said I was protesting Stew and Mullen!
Maybe I'll put out a sign that says GO TEAM! - FIRE COACHES!
I'm not staying home from the game because of my protest, I wasn't planning on going to the game anyway if it was at night.
I'll always back the BOYS, but if the fans don't do something, Stew and Mullen will be back next year. And then we can all just settle in to the same old mediocre year after year, just like the good ole days.
Sorry, I've had a taste of the big time and I would like for us to stay there!

Yeah, I can understand being spoiled by the big time... kinda like you go to a steakhouse every weekend, then all of a sudden, that steakhouse closes and you are left with a burger joint.

You say you are behind are Boys then get your gear and flags out and fly it proudly and wear you stuff the same way. In doing so you are not supporrting Stew and Mullen but the Boys on are team is who do those things for.
