Tony Caridi was in Beckley Tuesday night for "Inside The Huddle" to raise money for Hospice of Southern West Virginia. He was joined by Jerry West. It was a tailgate atmosphere with food and beverages and everyone sporting their Mountaineer attire. He showed the recruiting video, had a question and answer session with Jerry, talked about the upcoming Football and Basketball season and recruiting among other things. A couple of newcomers that he is really excited about is Ivan McCartney and Bruce Irvin. The overall feeling I got is that he's really excited about this year and says it all depends on when the light bulb "clicks on" for Geno. He was also impressed with the turnout...525 people! He said that is why he loves West Virginia, there isn't anywhere else that you can drive for 3 hours from the University and put 500 people in a room. He said that just don't happen. It was a great night thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance! Pic below......
