I was chalking up the Syracuse loss as the one we seem to lose every year that we should have won. The loss at UCONN made me open my eyes and jump off the Stew bandwagon. He's a great guy and a great role model for the kids but not HC material. I never really thought he was but I thought he had surrounded himself with a good staff that could pick up the slack. Apparently I was wrong, other than Casteel and Beatty. Three losses already with an excellent defense is not good. The way things are looking in the BE right now I can see us finishing 6-6, assuming a win against Rutgers. With all the starters we will lose I cringe at the thought of next year with the current staff in place, a bad year will be easier to swallow with a new crew in Morgantown. Obviously I would love to see a turnaround and finish 10-3, but that's a double edged sword....how can you fire a coach with 10 wins? Or even 9 for that matter. Regardless of how we finish we're set up for disaster next year if a change isn't made.
With that said and December right around the corner, who would be on your Christmas list for a potential new HC? Top of my list would be Mark Helfrich the Oregon OC. High friggin powered offense at Oregon, did the same as a QB coach at Arizona State a few years ago, huge passing attack!! Was also a QB coach at Boise State and Colorado.
I've done my best to not be negative on here over the years, but I really can't help it now.

I dont know if he would come, I believe it is Terry Bowden, with a year or so in D2 football and doing quite well. Just hones his coaching skills for a D1 school.
