West Virginia picked up its first offensive line commit on Wednesday evening, according to Scout.com, in 6-foot-4, 290 pound Tyler Orlosky out of St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio.
The guard had other reported offers from Illinios, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Akron and Bowling Green. He’s listed as a four star prospect by Scout.com.
His commitment gives West Virginia seven verbals in its 2012 recruiting class. The others include quarterback/defensive back Brandon Napoleon, running back/athlete J.T. Washington, defensive tackle Imarjaye Albury, quarterback Ford Childress, defensive back Jarrod Harper and linebacker Joseph Jackson.
