Houston is getting NAILED with rain from Erin.. LOL Great Week to be in Chicago..
Also.. Watching Dean is a fun sport.. Weatherunderground.com blogs.. Dr Jeff Masters is the bomb digity.. You can learn a WHOLE lot from all the conversation there.

My boss just got back from Houston Tuesday night. He got out JUST in time. I'm flying there on Sunday, so hopefully things will be settled by then. I'm stuck there all week next week.

One of the GREAT things that you'll notice once you've been in Houston for awile is this.. If there is a tropical system in the Gulf and its not effecting you.. The weather around it is marvelous.
Today it was hot and sunny.. but it was a dry 93 degrees..
Latest report is that Dean is a category 2 hurricane, and rapid intensification and growth are expected to occur this weekend.
Consensus is that it will be coing into the Gulf .. Where it will go after it gets there.. no one KNOWS.. Pay attention to this when you're in Houston..
