MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- West Virginia will play Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and Rutgers two times apiece in the 2011-12 men's basketball season.
The schedule released Wednesday has 16 home games, including eight before Jan. 1.
The Mountaineers open the regular season Nov. 11 in Morgantown against Oral Roberts.
WVU also has nonconference home games against Kent State, Alcorn State, Akron, Miami, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Tennessee Tech. There also will be two games in Charleston against Morehead State on Nov. 22 and Marshall on Jan. 18.
WVU will travel to Las Vegas just before Christmas for games against Missouri State and Baylor.
The Mountaineers open Big East play Dec. 28 at home against Villanova. WVU also has conference home games against Georgetown, Rutgers, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Louisville, Marquette and DePaul.
