Such a beautiful day, I walked all the way into work. Going up thru the Italian Market, only the half above Washington Ave is still predominately Italian, the lower half has been taken over by the Mexicans.

Lots of chefs and restaurants go there. |

Just rescued three kittens. Looks like they're only a couple days old. Not in good shape, really sad. Taking them to the shelter...hope they make it.  |

Folks at the shelter said they prolly weren't even 24 hours old, and the shape they were in, the mother had prolly gone thru a tough delivery. They were going to have to put them down, which I knew in my heart...but that doesn't make it any easier. |
