The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 55-12 win over Norfolk State on Saturday, Sept. 10.
Offensive Champion – None; Defensive Champion – Darwin Cook; Special Teams Champion – Cecil Level; Offensive Scout Champion –Coley White; Defensive Scout Champion – William Marable.
(No. 18 Associated Press/20 USA Today Coaches Poll) West Virginia (2-0) faces Maryland (1-0) on Saturday, Sept. 17, at noon., at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium in College Park, Md. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
