The Big East presidents, chancellors and athletic directors all had another conference call Tuesday morning to discuss possible expansion teams. According to the Newark Star-Ledger, possible division lineups were discussed. According to sources in the report, if the league can’t land Boise State as a football only member, here’s how the potential Big East divisions could lineup:
Division I:
Rutgers
Connecticut
South Florida
Central Florida
Temple
Navy
Division II:
West Virginia
Air Force
SMU
Houston
Louisville
Cincinnati
If the league can get Boise State, the Star-Ledger reports that the Broncos would take West Virginia’s spot in Division II and the Mountaineers would move to the other side, replacing either Temple or Navy.

Meanwhile, CBSSports.com is reporting that no timetable has been set for an official invite to UCF, although the Knights remain the league’s top choice of expansion schools.
