West Virginia debuted in the 2011 BCS standings at No. 15. The Mountaineers (5-1) are14th in both the Coaches Poll and Harris poll which combine to make up the human element of the standings. The Mountaineers, however, didn't fare quite as well in the computer rankings, overall coming in at No. 15 in the BCS standings.
LSU overall is No. 1, followed by Alabama, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Boise State.
