If any of you read all the crap that I post here, you'll know that I am extremely unhappy with my work situation. I do have an opportunity to go into partnership as a contract person with my current boss.. I could go from an hourly wage, to contract labor making about 4 times as much an hour. we already have some very good base clients establishedwith a huge opportunity for growth.
We also share the desire to venture into a weekend business venue of breakfast delivery to the condos on the beach (as a start). I think both ideas are wildly successfull opportunities. Extra monies from contract labor could get the breakfast delivery service up and going. ( think its an extremely lucrative business here in tourist town)
I am really asking for honest opinions about leaving something stable but insanelyy boring, to a world that I am the co-boss but things are extremely bright.
Whatcha think?

I have taken risks before in search of a career and job that I am happy with. There were plenty of bumbs in the road, but if you really want it, you can make it happen. With as unhappy as you have been, I would say do it, but put 110% into what ever you do and that way there can be no regrets.

I agree with Red and Davy, Sounds like a great venture and although it does sound risky it may not be as much as it seems with an already client base for your work to take is is a great plus.

This sounds like a solid opportunity. I say examine it thoroughly, and if it still seems like it's being started with a solid business plan, go with it!
