Tomorrow, I am going golfing with one of my best buds @ the Parkersburg Country Club... Only problem is, I severely SUCK at golf (based on my performance at driving ranges) and the last time I was at a range, my shoulder was hurt! It's all Par 3, and we're gunna down a 6-pack of beer while playing golf. So, any advice on golf? The only advice was from my younger brother: "Don't wear the goofy pants and add insult to injury."  ;D |

I have only played one time but the advice I would give you is to bring an extra 6 pack and make sure your friend drinks more than you. May help in his accuracy.

Well, golfing went alright today... I just went totally Happy Gilmore. ;D Me and my buddy arrived at the course this morning, and nobody was at the clubhouse. There was a sign taped on the door that said: "HONOR SYSTEM - $5/9 HOLES, $9/18 HOLES" Nobody else was out on the course either... so we cracked open our first of many beers and just went crazy. Par 3? There was no such thing... the beer seemed to help me, though... and I actually got a few long balls off the Happy Gilmore swing. Thanks for the advice, seemed that the beer advice worked the best. Gotta tell y'all something funny that happened at the course: When I was in the middle of a swing, my phone went off and my club just flew outta my hands, and I fell back. After about 5 minutes of yelling and cussing, I checked to see who it was: Chris (cwalter2)... thanks, Chris! |
