Three former Mountaineers fell victim to the first round of major roster cuts in the National Football League.
The St. Louis Rams released running back K.J. Harris and wide receiver Rasheed Marshall. Marshall started fall camp as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers but was released by the team two weeks ago.
Former All-Big East guard Jeremy Sheffey was cut by the San Diego Chargers. The team must cut down to a 75 player roster by Tuesday night.
