Coach said it was not a major thing, he landed on the ball funny and hurt some ribs. I'm glad we have a week off to heal up. Would be nice if Pat would not have to take such a beating week in and week out but I guess that is the offense we have.

Sometimes I think Pat CHOOSES to take the beating.. He does take one for the team. I do hold my breath when he runs..
IS anyone else concerned with Slaton's mediocre performaces of late?

Well, to me, he seemed to play more physical. He didn't get any scores, but he was not shying away from contact today. I think teams are so keyed on him the ball is going to go to other players, Schmitt, Reynaud, etc.

I am somewhat concerned with his lack of numbers this year, Since he put on the extra weight he doesnt look like the same steve.

Also I was worried about this cause the radio announcers said that it may be his collar bone and later reported that it was a strained abdominal muscle. We may have to wait to see how bad it is.
