Well I have learned from year of experience over at sportsline, there are definately lots of fans out there from the old boys schools that won't EVER give WVU any credit..
We're just gonna have to settle it on the field, the best we can.

When I saw this, I thought I would call several AP Poll voters and ask what their thought process was. Every voter I spoke to said the Mountaineers' weak schedule is a significant factor in their ranking. The idea is that West Virginia is a solid football team that is going to run the table, and an undefeated season would justify putting the Mountaineers in the No. 3 spot.
What? So what if Michigan, which clearly is a stronger football team, runs the table, and West Virginia runs the table, too. Are you going to tell me Michigan, which would be the Big Ten champion, should be ranked behind West Virginia, which would be the Big East champion? No way. The Big Ten might not be the deepest conference, but with Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio State at the top -- and with Penn State just below, as well as Illinois and Purdue on the rise -- it is miles ahead of the Big East. It's not even close.
Strength of schedule has to be addressed.

You can listen to this dipstick on Sporting News Radio on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm guessing he won't be taking any call-ins this week. In the dictionary with the definition of idiot, they have his picture next to it.
