1. Offensive line - 4 stars. Allowed a few penetrations against a pretty good team, but opened some good holes, too.
2. Running backs - 5 stars. Devine is sensational !
3. Quarterback - 3 1/2 stars.Made a couple misreads, missed a couple of throws.
4. Special teams - 1 star. Devine almost broke a couple of kickoffs, otherwise it would be no stars. A missed chip shot field goal, terrible kickoffs, 2 outof bounds, 2 short punts, absolutely pathetic.
5. Run defense - 2 1/2 stars. The Twerps used a ton of humanity to knock us off the ball, but the guys hung in there and kept fighting the whole game.
6. Pass defense - 2 stars. Maryland didn't pass much until the4th quarter. Mostly short passes and usually the first tackle was made.
7. ESPN coverage - Zero stars. Why didn't they do 3 hours of interviewing Ray Lewis and Lou Holtz' pep talk and let another network televise the game?
8. The fans - 5 stars. Very loud "Let's go, Mountaineers" in the 4th quarter.
We now have 2 weaknesses - pass defense and kicking off. If these don't improve we will lose 1 game (probably more than one).Happy with the win. We must get better.
