First I am PLEASED to announce that our receptionist is now officially a Tech Trainee.. And DOING a FAMOUSLY wonderful job in her new position. She's like a sponge.. and she's SOOO eager and she's really catching on and listening. And its a wonderful experience training her.
That's the good part. There have been lots of changes in neurologist staffing in my hospital and we're worried that our department is going to be closed down and we'll be farmed out to essentially our competition, or be forced to work for the hospital only, doing in patient procedures. I'm pretty sure we'll alll have a job in some capacity or another... but our department is really really changing.
I like to go to work everyday as it is, but I think its going to be hell after the first of the year.
Its just a mess... and my career perhaps could have taken 5 steps back.
I'm not a happy lady.
