WTF!!!!!

What is wrong with people these days? As I have stated in another post, I belong to the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Sunday was our annual Christmas party for the local area children. All of the children ages birth to 12 were given age appropriate gifts that we had purchased.

Monday the club was informed of something that I find rather disturbing and it made me quite angry. The father of four girls that attended the party called the club to ask if we had any presents left for children. He informed us that the mother who took the children to the party ( I believe they are divorced) had dropped the children off at his house after the party. Then she took the presents to store where we had purchased them and exchanged the presents for money! After doing so she never returned to pick the girls back up.

At first we were not quite believing of the story, because it was so hard to believe. But after a few phone calls (small communities everyone knows everyone) it is sad to say the story was confirmed.

All I have to say is that may that mother of those children ROT IN HELL!!!! It is a sad world that we live in when a mother would do that to her own flesh and blood. I could rant on and on but I won't. I just had to tell someone.

That's pretty lame... Sounds like there are a LOT of underlying issues there too..

Hopefully Dad can get them some presants that mom won't get ahold of.. Sounds like Dad should be the one to be looking after the kids.

Sad.. It really is.

We had 2 instances in Chicago where the Salvation Army coolection bins were ripped off. Being angry about it isn't going to change it.
