Sorry for the delay, but I have been in mourning.
1. Offensive line - 1 star. First to admit they played a great defense, but they could not open holes for the runners and pass protection was not that good. Mike Dent's bad snaps cost us eleven points.
2. Quarterbacks - 3 1/2 stars. They did the best they could. There were defenders in their face most of the day. Brown made good decisions except for the interceptions.
3. Running backs - 3 stars. We were forced to abandon the running game, so hard to rate. Slaton made a couple of good moves in traffic.
4. Special teams - 3 stars. They held their own, but this is one area we should have dominated. There was no room for our return men to do much.
5. Run defense - 4 stars. Shut them down most of the game.
6. Pass defense - 3 1/2 stars - pretty good. Aided by a few dropped passes, but the breakdown on the long pass was a killer. We cannot give points away like that.
