WVU home opener
The West Virginia University tennis team hosts Liberty at 6 p.m.
Friday in its home opener at the Ridgeview Racquet Club.
The Mountaineers (1-1) are coming off a performance in which they split matches against Morehead State and Marshall nearly two weekends ago at Huntington.
WVU started its season by defeating Morehead State, 6-1, but fell the next day to Marshall, 7-0.
