WVU completes four-game sweep
MORGANTOWN — Senior Tyler Kuhn finished with three hits, matched his career-high with two home runs, and drove in five runs to lead West Virginia to a 17-1 victory over Iona Sunday and a four-game series sweep. It marked the 500th win at Hawley Field. The Mountaineers (17-1) had a season-high 17 hits. Freshman Jarryd Summers (1-2) earned his first collegiate victory, pitching seven innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out 10 and walking three. The Mountaineers host Canisius in a doubleheader at Hawley Field beginning at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
