1971-72: This helmet is currently for sale on EBay for $129.00. If this is correct and I don't make it back, go ahead and ask #33. Sorry about the last one.....  |

Actually the helmet was worn in 1970, 1971, 1972. The years 1973-78 the same design was worn except the helmet was gold. In 1979 the black stripe was removed, but basically the same helmet. Check out this website: www.gridironmemories.com/shop/category.asp?catid=87 |

The correct year is 1970. It was only used that year with the gold shadow of the state's silhouette. You were correct by saying the year. You get to ask #33.
