Well, not really, but sorta.....

My cousin, a VT alum who lives in Blacksburg, callled me yesterday and said he had a ticket for me to the VT-BC game Thursday if I wanted to go. Blacksburg is barely a 90 minute drive from here and a FREE ticket to see a #2 vs #8 BCS matchup?? I said hell yea I'll be there!! I'd watch it on TV anyhow so why would I pass up a chance to go? Obviously we need both of them to lose, but at this point we probably need BC to lose more because they're ahead of us and take a chance on VT jumping us with a win and hope they drop one later. So I guess I will be somewhat rooting for VT in spite of my deep hatred for them, since I would prefer to not get my ass kicked. But be assured, I will in no way, shape or form, sport any VT colors or logo on my body. Also, there is no way I have enough balls to wear my WV attire either (see above about ass kicking). So I'll probably just wear an OCC or Taylor Made hat and a plain sweatshirt. Anyhow, I'm pretty excited about getting to go to this one.

i dislike both of the deserters but a bc loss will help us more than a vt loss at this point so go (gag) hokies.

smitee, you need to wear a bright gold t-shirt with the following printed on the back in big blue lettering:

THE GOOD (WV logo)
THE BAD (BC logo)
THE UGLY (VT logo)

or one with "SEC SUCKS..." on the front and on the back :... "ACC SWALLOWS"

LOL Too funny Rainman. Do you think if I scream"Lets GOOOO" I'll get a reply? Hell, a few beers tailgating before the game I might get in a fight anyhow LOL. I'm sure I'll be able to work the Mountaineers into casual conversation somehow. Something like, "Speaking of quarterbacks, I think Pat White is the best in the nation!!" Wish me luck!!!!

mountaineers are like the steelers - their fans are nationwide, my daughter and son-in-law wore their wvu jerseys when they were in vegas and they had several people come up to say they are fans

When I went to Buffalo Wild Wings here in Houston this past weekend, I became friends with the manager and he said WVU is one of the most requested teams to be shown on their TVs. I couldn't believe when he told me that! Obviously all the TX teams are on anyway, but of people wanting to see teams outside of Texas play, WVU is one of their top requests.
