NCAA game times set, tickets on sale
MORGANTOWN — Game times for first- and secondround NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship action at Dick Dlesk Stadium have been finalized.
Game one on Friday between James Madison and Penn will begin at 3:30 p.m. Game two between fourth-seed West Virginia and Navy is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The winners of Friday’s first-round contests will advance to a second-round match at Dick Dlesk Stadium at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for youth and students. To order tickets in advance, call 1-800-WVU GAME or visit the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the Coliseum.
West Virginia is host to the national tournament for the fourth time. The 15-42 Mountaineers find themselves ranked in the final regular-season polls released Monday evening.
The 2007 Big East champion Mountaineers moved up five spots to No. 15 in the nation by Soccer America. They are No. 10 in the Soccer Buzz rankings, giving them their 75th consecutive week ranked in the poll, the sixth-longest current streak among ranked teams.
