I didnt read the article but you have to respect the coach for standing up for his players like this. This morning I caught the response of the journalist and I would have to agree witht he coach on this one the media dont care what they say in their stories only after the big story. sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3034387

A female sportswriter in Chicago had the nerve to say his rant was sexest because the writer was a woman and because he asked if she had children. These sportswriters want to be as famous as the athletes they write about, so they feel an obligation to make disparaging and sometimes outrageous columns to create controversy. Then they defend each other with the power of the pen. They take the smallest item and turn it into a major non-ending story. When Joe Horn pulled the cellphone out of the goal post 2 years ago, all these idiots on ESPN came on and asked why it was such a big deal. It was such a big deal because ESPN showed it every 10 minutes for 2 weeks. If I were a bigtime athlete or coach, I don't know if I would be as patient as most of them.
