The West Virginia University men’s soccer team has been picked No. 13 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas preseason poll.
Five of the Mountaineers’ opponents this year are also ranked: Duke (No. 4), Maryland (No. 9), Notre Dame (No. 10), St. John’s (No. 17) and Connecticut (No. 25).
The Mountaineers finished 15-3-3 last season and were ranked as high as fourth.
