CROSS COUNTRY WVU moves up to No. 13
The West Virginia University cross country team moved up one spot in the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association Top 25 this week. It is ranked No. 13 after placing second at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional last weekend to qualify for the NCAA Championship meet. Regional champion Princeton comes in at No. 4, while Big East teams ranked include No. 14 Providence and No. 18 Georgetown. The NCAA Championship competition will be held next Monday in Terre Haute, Ind. WVU earned one of the 18 automatic bids by finishing in the top two of the Mid-Atlantic Region. Thirteen teams were added as atlarge selections.
