I raise this question only because my coworker Samantha and her husband Ben are just constantly calling each other at work. back and forth and back and forth, and when its good, its ok.. but they fight at least 3 times a week during football season, because hes a gambler and she's put her foot down. However, she is a spenda a holic, and ALL of their fights revolve around money.. ALL of them. At least that's where it starts. Both of them are INSANE with individual emotional needs.. I have a friend that I have known since I was in college way back in the day and they fight just as much as Samantha and Ben do.. How can you even do this and keep any shred of sanity?
They haven't even been married a year, and its all gone to shit.

I dont because it's not worth it, if I did it could be non-stop. It's hard in a blended family when there's step kids involved. In my marriage there's mine, hers and ours - I have learned never to say anything negative about hers although at times it's so damn hard to keep quiet (especially now that she is 13 lol). I live by the "silence is golden" rule to keep peace.

I never argue with my wife. I allow her to do all the arguing.

Rarely. I'm one of the most easy going guys you'll ever meet. I never sweat the small things, so I'm tough to argue with.
I do like to stir up the pot online though. I'll sometimes say things to disagree just to hear the rebuttal. It's entertaining!

Everytime his Italian temper takes over and I have to instruct him how civilized people talk to each other.

Not really ever. I too am very easy going, and I don't like wasting the time with fighting. Why fight, it goes nowhere, and in the end you both end up apologizing for saying things you didn't really mean in the first place.
