I used to be a league bowler from '70-'91. Back in the eighties, I was in 3 leagues and subbed in many more at the same time. It seemed like I lived in a bowling alley. After not bowling for around 15 years, I now open bowl occassionally.

I've Sugar bowled twice and Gator bowled twice.  Sorry, I can't get football outta my mind, LOL. Until this year I hadn't bowled in a league in about 12 or 13 years, and hadn't bowled at all for 7 or 8. Some friends and my father-in-law talked me into bowling in a Wednesday morning mixed league with them. The first day I bowled, a guy who worked there got me to join his Thursday morning men's singles league. Of course I needed a new ball, so I bought a Hammer Black Widow. Ball technology (and prices) have really changed since I last bought one. I'm averaging 188 on Wednesday and 174 on Thursday. It's gotta be the ball because I've never averaged higher than the low-160's in my life. I've had a 639 and a 637 series, and about 15 200+ games with a high of 242 so far this year so I'm having a blast!! Oh yea, and I had a 128 game as well....LOL |

I love bowling, but only go a few times a year!! My all-time high is around 190 something, which I thought was pretty damn good! Usually I'm stuck around 100.

LOL...Shawn, my first game is always horrible. It takes me a few pitchers before I can start hitting pins.
