Its OPENING DAY!! Watching all these games to day I remember my grandpa taking the day and taking me to Pittsburgh to see an opening day game!!! We both hated the Pirates but its as close as we could get to a game!! I grilled out this morning so I could have hot dogs all day!! Now that grandpa is gone I only have the memories of him but I will have OPENING DAY to carry on with my son!! So if you get a chance turn a game on and take a break and watch an inning or two!!!

Even if ya hate the Pirates.. LOL
Actually baseball lost every bit of its appeal to me when they had the strike.. I haven't followed it at all since then, and how many years ago was that???
I'll be over for some hotdogs..

The boo-birds are out already! Phils battle back to tie it at 6, only to blow it in the top of the 9th. 10-6 Nats, and they're still up.

That's what made me lose interest also..........and the fact the Pirates SUCK every year doesn't help a whole lot!! The strike lasted from August 12, 1994, to April 2, 1995, led to the cancellation of 938 games overall, including the entire 1994 postseason and World Series.
