It is my humble opinion that this situation is NO PLACE for NAACP to be spouting off..
This is the bottom line. Most people who plead guity to, or are convicted of a FELONY CRIME lose their job. Period. I do not think this is racially fueled at all.

If say Peyton Manning did the same thing as Vick has done I would hope the punishment would be the same. I feel race isn't an issue here although some are trying to make it racial.

I'm the first to admit that racism is alive and well in our country. However, a lot of African-Americans can't grasp the fact that if they play the race card every time a famous African-American gets in trouble, all they're doing is diminishing their credibility. I read an article saying people want Vick's butt because he is black and his crimes are small in comparison to other actions (OJ Simpson, Ray Carruth, etc.). The problem with their logic is all the comparisons they made were other black people.
