I'm crossing fingers,toes, arms and legs that it willbe with the Steelers.. Pittsburgh really could use him.
Willie is awesome, Owen would add that other dimension in the running game.. plus add extremely needed blocking.

Even though it's a pipedream, I'd love to see him on the Denver Broncos, but I know he would NOT fit into Coach Shanahan's scheme of things...

I heard Owen had a visit with the Chargers... their big FB retired recently, and of course, the opportunity to block for LT is also there... but, I would be so upset if Schmitt went to the Chargers, whom I despise.

Sport's Radio here in the Tampa area cited unknown sources saying the Buccaneers have a strong interest in Schmitt to replace the now retired Mike Alstott. Could be pre-draft hoopla. I personally would rather see him in purple but the Vikes just signed fullback Thomas Tapeh from the Eagles so their need for a fullback seems to be filled for now. Too bad.
