Santonio Holmes, WR
Pittsburgh Steelers Holmes injured his hamstring during pregame warmups and did not play.
Trent Green, QB
Miami Dolphins Green suffered a concussion while blocking on a reverse with 3:35 left in the first quarter and did not return. Green attempted to block Houston's Travis Johnson and was hit in the side of the head by a knee. Green was strapped on a backboard and removed from the field on a stretcher. He was replaced by Cleo Lemon. Story
David Carr, QB
Carolina Panthers Carr injured his back late in the first quarter. He was replaced by Matt Moore but returned late in the second quarter.
Jamal Lewis, RB
Cleveland Browns Lewis left the game in the first quarter with a foot injury and did not return. He had one carry for 11 yards before he was replaced by Jason Wright. Story
Deion Branch, WR
Seattle Seahawks Branch left the game during the second quarter with a sprained foot and was taken to the locker room on a cart. He did not return. Story
