I forgot that I met the OCC chopper guys, they were complete assholes. I also met and got to take a picture with Indian Larry before he passed and my favorite bike builder Billy Lane of Choppers Inc.

The first celeb I ever met was Franco Harris.. He came to my school when I was in elementary school.. Saw Terry Bradshaw at Ames. He was buying underwear. John Cleese I met at Wendys.
When I was in College, I was in the same dorm as the freshman football players, so it was nothing to run into all of them. My friend Terri tutored Bo Orlando so I saw him weekly.. Nice Guy!
When I came to Pensacola I landed possibly the sweetest volunteer job one could ever get. It was a big weekend street party here called "Springfest, a Celebration of Music." We were Artist Hospitality which meant we served bands all the food and booze they wanted or desired and subsequently we had backstage passes. I met Tracy Lawence, The Dixie Chicks, Greg Allman, Hootie and the Blowfish, Little River Band, 7 Mary 3, Cowboy Mouth, The Violent Femmes, k.d.Lang, Eddie Money and a few others that I am SURE I am forgetting.
Politically I have met Joe Scarborough and John and Elizabeth Edwards. Though I have not met our current president, his frequent visits to Pensacola have certainly clogged up my trips to and from work.

I guess I have beeen fortunate to meet a few celebs.
When I was in Boy Scouts our troop was selected to attend a dinnner for Robert Byrd. Out troop sat directly across the table from Sen. Byrd. It was funny because they they kept insisting we use are best table manners. Then they served fried chicken and none of us were eating because we were afraid we wouldn't be proper eating it. Sen. Byrd evidentally saw we weren't eating and suggusted, "Boys, the only way I know to eat chicken is with your fingers."
Musically I have had the pleasure to meet quite a few people over the years. I once owned a roadie company here in Florida with my ex and we did quite a few shows. Back Street Boys, Sherly Crow, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Celene Dion were some of the better known acts. I also have a brother who is a physician and he would work for now defunct Silver Star Productions around the Tampa area as house doc and I would go along with him to the shows. I got to meet Tom Petty, Yes, JethroTull, Plant/Page, The Firm, Santana, Boney James, The Rippington's, Patty Smith and The Moody Blues to name a few.
My biggest thrill was when I got to meet Keith Emerson when he played with Three, Rick Wakeman on his solo tour at a meet and greet(twice), and the one person who I met three times that was a huge thrill for me was Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Tony Danza in a Hotel Bar in Christiana Del. He is a little guy, Lance Armstrong before he won the Tour de France. He was racing in the K-mart classic and I was providing security at the Hotel, both were pleasant. Vice President Dan Quale ..he was a dick. Coach Stew a month ago in Mo Town. Robert C Byrd in the 90's. My best experence was about an hour with James Earl Jones, he was at a local mall buying a book. He was sitting on a bench at the mall and there wasn't anyone else in the mall. He was filming the movie Matewan .......he is a great guy.

I have a picture of me with Senator Byrd in 1961. LC Greenwood used to come in the bar I hung out at in Wheeling. I shook hands with Michelle and Barack O'Bama in February. I shook hands at various times with Bradshaw, Franco, Mayor Dailey. Governor Arch Moore spoke at my high school commencement (before he went to jail). Former Governor Caperton and President Hardesty have appeared at recent Chicago Alumni events (both really nice guys) I met Judy Shoup in 1969 when she was Miss West Virginia. I met and shook hands twice with "Sweetness" We did some work at the Bulls training facility, so I got to see Jordan and the boys up close, but never spoke to them. I did get to meet Artis Gilmore though. I was bumped into by the "Colonel", Richard Dent at my wife's Law School graduation.
